With two floors, 14 rooms and over 100,000 books, the Second Hand Department is a veritable Aladdin's cave with more subjects than you can imagine, as well as prints and sheet music. Please ask our friendly staff for any assistance you may require.

Remember - don't forget to look in the "Internet Book Room", situated just behind the till on the first floor. It contains some of our rarer and more valuable on a variety of subjects, all of which are listed on our computer system and available for purchase on line, either via email, or our sites on Abebooks and Amazon. 

Whilst we are usually happy to buy books, please contact us before bringing them into the shop. The buyer may not be in, or we may have a large backlog to deal with first.

On the 1st floor we also have a comfortable coffee and biscuit area where you can sit and relax surrounded by books.
